OUR $$$$$$$$$ WEEK

We have had some exciting things happen this week. On Tues. I took my oldest to Provo to get her wisdom teeth pulled. Everything went well and we came home. I wasn't feeling well, so I took a nap and woke up to my youngest crying. She came in holding up her arm and right away I could see it was broken. She ended up with a sling for a few days and just got the cast today. It has been quite a pricey week to say the least.
My oldest wouldn't let me include a photo of her cute chipmunk look, but I guess I don't have any photos of my wisdom teeth incident either. She is actually at work tonight, so she must be okay. My youngest is doing well too. The doctor said it wasn't that bad of a break and she can get her cast off in 2 weeks. Just in time to start school...

CAMPING

We actually haven't camped much this year because we've been doing so many other things, so it was great fun to camp this past weekend. We actually had a lot friends and family for company up there. It was great! We played horseshoes, sang around the campfire, hiked, fished, kayaked, ate good food, etc... We did encounter a little rain on Saturday, but that's better than roasting down in town in 95 degree weather, so we didn't complain. My oldest was working both nights, so she was only up there Saturday morning and afternoon and had to go back to town. This is a photo of the campfire and a video of my husband running Cottonwood Creek (it comes out of Joe's Valley Res).

EXTREME HAIR

My youngest son got a mohawk yesterday. My husband thinks this is a fun thing to do every summer for him. He grows his hair out and then my husband cuts it on Monday. The deal is that he can keep it until Saturday night so that he doesn't go to church with it.

KIM'S DISCAIMER: I would just like you to know that this is not done with Mom's approval, so if you see my kid running around like this, know that it's not my fault!

SUMMER

Our summer has been extremely busy. We have had scout camps, family reunions, river trips, visiting family, swimming, camping, girls camp, youth conference, etc... My husband committed to be in charge of many of these activities so his summer was over before it even started! His scout camp alone was 9 days! I have been laboring extensively trying to get our scrapbooks caught up. That has been a fun thing for me. School always comes too soon and I am really dreading it this year...
