SCRIPTURE GRAB BAG

This is what I'm doing for our combined/extended Family Night tonight:
Sugar Doodle (click for link) has all the illustrations from The Friend for you to download.

Or you can use actual objects like on this page. (Click for link)

To play, all you have to do is cut out the pictures and put them in a bag. Have the first player pick one card from the grab bag, without peeking, and tell which scripture story the card reminds him or her of. There are no 'wrong' answers, but the player must explain why the card reminds him or her of that story. If the player can't think of a story, they may choose someone to help them. *I also add that you can't use the same story someone else has already used.

The thing I like about this game is that it is great for all ages. I actually made one years ago and ended up using in Primary a lot. It is a great 'emergency' game to have on-hand if you need a time filler.

Then hopefully it will be warm enough to do s'mores on the back porch for treats!

Good luck, and Happy Home Evening!
