CLIMBING WITH COLLEGE STUDENTS

Bishop Big C had a Family Home Evening activity with his YSA ward in Maple Canyon tonight, so the kids and I tagged along. There was a BBQ and Big C brought his climbing gear.
Little C lead climbing in The School Room. Princess P waits her turn.
Some of the students had climbed before, but some hadn't and wanted to try. We took so long climbing that all the food was gone by the time we were done. College students don't quit eating until the food's gone.

We ended up at McDonald's at 10pm feeding our kids as well as the kids that had helped us with the climbing. It was the only thing open at that time in our little town.
Big C even got to climb.

FAMILY NIGHT WITH THE WARD

Our lives are already changing with Big C's new calling as Bishop. Since it is a YSA (Young Single Adult) ward, we have started attending Family Nights with them so that we can be with Big C as much as possible. The kids have mixed feelings about it. A loves it and it makes him excited to be in college, but the little kids still aren't too sure... They really miss our combined nights with the extended family.

Last night we went to the Institute and watched the Ward Talent Show. Afterwards, the kids played pool and ate cookies.
