There is a parade in the morning to start things off and we meet at my sister's. She lives on Main Street and makes us all breakfast.
Here are my niece and I showing off our bottled water we got at the parade. There was also candy, frisbees, otter pops, toys, etc... handed out. Then we went to the festival and visited some of the booths, ate lots of good stuff and then came home and hosted a BBQ on our back porch for all the relatives that had come to visit (on my side). Such a great time!
Today we went to the cemetery in town and put flowers on the graves. We have lots of relatives (close and distant) that are buried here- my parents, both sets of grandparents, my husband's brother and grandparents, many of my great 'grands', etc...
This is the day my 3rd son got his annual mohawk as well. Nice tan lines, huh. After 3 years of this tradition, I am still not a fan, but it is a father/son bonding ritual, so who cares what Mom thinks.

Loved the mohawk, you are very easygoing as a mom.....I would be shrieking like a banshee if one of my boys tried that.....:)
Yeah...I'm finally feeling well enough to catch up on your blog! Love all the posts. LOVE your hair! I'm not much of a fan of C's hair either, but he's such a cute kid either way. Hope his head didn't get too sunburned on your river trip.
D looks like he's about to be entering the cemetery in a casket in that pic. Haha!
