It isn't finished (I know I say that a lot, but it is true- maybe I'm never finished). I got really frustrated with it. The bottom right didn't go the way I wanted, so I was trying to paint over it and with watercolor, that is very rarely successful. I am waiting until I feel brave enough to go on. It got too dark which is always a problem I have that is impossible to fix with watercolor.
I also painted Saturday on our Joe's Valley trip. It is too dark as well and my husband says the big rock doesn't feel attached. Any feedback for me? Believe me, I am not sensitive, so be honest. Any input is great...

What are you talking about Kim? It think both paintings are amazing. Sheesh, don't be so hard on yourself. Say's the pot to the kettle. :)
Honestly, if you really don't like it, give it to me. I'd hang that first painting on my wall in a second. I love, love, love it!
You are too talented.
I just have to say that the flower piece "talks" to me. I think you really caught the beauty or essence and simplicity of the white petals. I absolutely LOVE it! So -- bring it on! What a wonderful goal you have set to practice your talent this summer. :D :D :D
I love the daisies. Watercolor is very hard to work with if you make mistakes that are too dark. I think it looks good though. I like the second one, but I am going to have to agree with Big C...the rock looks like it's about to fall.
