We drove up to
the 'big metropolis' today to have a summer adventure. The kids were meeting the Gordon cousins at a water park and I went to meet some high school friends for lunch.

We ate at Zupas. I had never been there and
it was YUMMY! I had an oriental chicken salad and tasted my friends Wisconsin Cauliflower soup. It was SO GOOD! I am definitely going back!
We talked for 2 hours and had a great time together. It might be a while before we can all get back together again because some of them are moving out of state. I am sad.
They are amazing women!
Meanwhile, the kids got
rain/wind/thunder/lightning at the water park. They were bummed so we went to the mall for a while before we went home.
The extreme weather followed us home and when we went out to watch it on our porch, a dragonfly came and landed on Little C's face. I'm sure he was taking shelter from the storm. It was a pretty intense day. I'm tired.
