OCTOBER EVENTS

It's been busy lately. We've been carving pumpkins (twice), going to concerts, attending debate meets, enjoying the bi-polar weather, and participating in carnivals. Here's a little update...
A with his trophy.
A participated in his first debate meet last weekend and did really well for his first experience. He and his debate partner (and best friend) took 3rd place at a regional meet. They were pretty excited about it- in their words: "BOOM, HEADSHOT!"

Little C, Princess P- the vampire, and Little Miss C.
We went to the Elementary school Halloween carnival like the supportive  community members we are. I do have to say that I really don't enjoy it anymore. Since they moved into the new school, they try to cram the whole town into the gym instead of letting us use the classrooms like they used to. It is NOT fun. We might just not be so supportive next year...
Little C wearing his sister's boots and Princess P.
This week is Red Ribbon Week at both the Elementary and the Middle Schools. Little C had to wear boots today to 'stomp out drugs.' Princess P had crazy hair day. They both looked crazy!
Princess P's rainbow braids.
We couldn't see the colorfulness of Princess P's hair in the above photo, so we've provided this close-up for your viewing pleasure. Ah, don't you just love it!
