D was set apart tonight as an official missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a very wonderful experience. I was so struck by how much he 'looked like one.' It just all of a sudden became so real and I was so touched by the spirit that this was where he was supposed to be serving. I felt strongly about that when he opened his call too.
