ANOTHER OPENING

Monday night was the faculty art show opening (as previously mentioned). It is a great show and the opening was pretty darn crowded (until 8- and then people quit coming, so we just visited).

My family came at the beginning to check it out. Here are Big C and I with my monotype of the aspens. Then they all took off and went to combined family night. I stayed and schmoozed.

Here is my finished woodcut called 'Pin the Tail on the Jackass.' The colored images behind the print are Xylene transfers of ads from the 50's and 60's that are demeaning to women. I actually felt really good about this show and my work in it, which is very rare for me.
