PERFECT SATURDAY

We headed down south today to run the Sevier River with some of the Q family (our neighbors). There is a fun bike path down there as well that follows the river and highway, so we decided to take our bikes too.
The kids: B, Princess P, Little C and T.
We chose to ride in the morning while it was still cool and run the river when it was hotter. We also rode downhill, which was easier for Princess P and her bike with no gears. We started across the highway from Big Rock Candy Mountain. All the older kids were otherwise occupied, so we just had our two youngest and the neighbor's two youngest with their mom, J.

Little C leading the pack down the canyon.
It is a really nice, paved trail down the canyon (only about 2 or 3 miles). It was perfect weather for it as well! We picked a fabulous day!

Princess P and T eat their lunch before we head out onto the river.

Then we ate lunch and geared up for the river. I don't have any water photos because I only had my nice camera and wasn't about to take it in the boat. It is a good thing too, because we got REALLY wet! It was running high, so the holes were big and we got lots of splash! We ran it twice and really had a great time!
